So our dear MP’s are complaining that they cannot pay the taxes that the rest of us pay. What is the excuse most of them are giving? Apparently they have loans and mortgages so coming down from 751k to 500K is a huge problem? Well, I think it’s time that our beloved MP’s come out of the bubble they are living in and start to understand what toll on us it takes, to actually pay them those salaries and allowances. As they complain, fuel is going up, price of Unga is going up, electricity is going up, school fees is going up and certain taxes just went up. We don’t have a choice but to adjust our lifestyles when the cost of living goes up. Adjust our way of life at times just to pay them. So our dear MPs should start to live in the real world. If you can no longer afford that mortgage because of the legal obligation to pay tax, our financial advice to you is that you move. Ironically, for them this tax is they are fighting against is exactly what pays them. Case of biting the hand that feeds them!
